Whether you’re looking for a nautical kitchen light or industrial pendant, our C-3 is a great option! Like all our lighting, the starboard pendant is made of solid brass – not plated, a critical distinction for all projects near the coast- so it will naturally patina over time (and will never rust). This outdoor nautical light comes standard with 20” of chain, however it is also available with tubing or as a flush or pendant mount. Comparisons have been made to the UA Lakeside Ceiling Mount and hanging version of the Compton, Admiral Light and Starboard Pendant with Shade. Recent installations include private residences in Nantucket MA, East Hampton, NY and Vero Beach, FL.
Lead Time: Standard finishes are typically in-stock; Custom finishes are 4-8 weeks unless in-stock (contact us for our list of in-stock custom finishes). Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
