One of our most popular ship lanterns, the U-5F is designed to fit in tight spaces. Whether you’re looking for a nautical porch light, brass kitchen pendant or marine bathroom lamp, our U-5F can fit almost anywhere. Its solid brass construction will never rust or corrode and it’s also available in a coated brass (for interior and non-corrosive environments). Our flush mounted version will come with a 4.8” mounting plate, for a simple and seamless installation. For an ‘extra’ nautical flair, simply sub red and green lightbulbs for a port & starboard design. Recent installations include private residences in Westhampton Beach, NY , Key West, FL and San Clemente, CA.
Lead Time: Standard finishes are typically in-stock; Custom finishes are 4-8 weeks unless in-stock (contact us for our list of in-stock custom finishes). Material: Solid Brass Construction
Maintenance: When used by the ocean or in extreme weather conditions, our lights will patina and eventually verdigris over time. Since our lights are solid brass or bronze, they will not rust, corrode or disintegrate. All finishes are living finishes and will continue to patina as they age. We always recommend routine maintenance including a gentle soap & water solution or butcher wax if trying to slow the natural aging process.
